Many Kambong 甘望魚 Caught at Woodland Jetty
Plenty of Faughni Mackerel [Rastrelliger Faughni] also know as Kambong 甘望魚 [Chinese] or Ikan Temenung, Rumahan, Mabong, Kembung Lampai [Malay] Caught by Ah Yong at Woodland Jetty on 15th March 2013 using Sabiki Rigs or Tamban Rigs.
Plenty of Faughni Mackerel [Rastrelliger Faughni] also know as Kambong 甘望魚 [Chinese] or Ikan Temenung, Rumahan, Mabong, Kembung Lampai [Malay] Caught by Ah Tan, Ah Huat and Small Ben at Woodland Jetty on 10th March 2013 using Sabiki Rigs or Tamban Rigs.
Many Faughni Mackerel [Rastrelliger Faughni] also know as Kambong 甘望魚 [Chinese] or Ikan Temenung, Rumahan, Mabong, Kembung Lampai [Malay] and is often see swimming in school around the jetty during year end but this seen to be abit late. They move with the current and feed from midwater to surface which often can be seen and heard from a distance away. Can be caught using sabiki rigs or Tamban rigs [local name] but are more effective with use of small shrimps. Berlying some bait will help keep the school from moving on with the current.
